Jackson Memorial Junior Scholarship Fund

The Jackson Memorial Junior Scholarship Fund was established in honor of Bill Jackson in 2011 by the Eastern Lowline Angus Association as a way to assist our juniors in their future. We know that juniors are the future and encourage all our membership and friends to support this fund.

The amount of the scholarship is $500.00. It just takes $10 at a time to support our future Lowline breeders. The scholarship is open to juniors ages 11 to 21. Please note that previous scholarship winners are not eligible to enter again.

Generally the ELAA will announce an essay topic for those wishing to be considered for the scholarship. The announcement comes several weeks before our annual meeting in Louisville during the North American International Livestock Expo (NAILE). The winner of the scholarship is selected and notified during the ELAA annual meeting.

Thanks to all the Juniors who took the time to participate in the essay contest and who continue to raise their cattle!
